A Research On Ways Of The Contemporary College Students' Patriotic Education

Patriotism is an old and new issues .The Chinese patriotism is the source of great spirit for the Chinese nation number to grow continually , self-confidently independently during thousands of years. Contemporary college students is a new force construction of the motherland .What's more, they are the successors to the future society. It seems particularly important for Contemporary college students to raise their patriotic emotion and patriotic behavior.Now, the information age has come, economic globalization is sweeping the world and the socialist market economy has got gradual development and improvement. They have already brought not only opportunities but also serious challenges for the college students'patriotic education. How to correctly understand and grasp this historical background, explore patriotic education ways and means for the contemporary college students and improve the relevance and effectiveness of education is an urgent problem which needs to be addressed. Based on an objective of raising the college students' spirit of patriotism to make them become socialism qualified successors, my essay has been carried on the preliminary study to the college student patriotic education ways. This thesis includes 5 parts.The first part of this thesis is the introduction. The background, basis, research status of this topic are introduced respectively.The second part describes the connotation of college students'patriotic education, describes the subject and basic characteristics of college students'patriotic education in the context of a new era and emphasizes its more important position in the period of building socialism with Chinese characteristics.The third part investigates and analyses the current patriotic consciousness of college students at first. Then it focuses on three aspects of analysis from the patriotic education of the contemporary college students facing the challenges and opportunities. These three aspects respectively are: accelerated process of economic globalization,the development of the socialist market economy ,network advances in information technology.So we get the basis to explore the ways of the college students'patriotic education.The fourth part analyses some principles which contemporary college students' patriotic education is made by.The last part is the focus of the full text. Based on the analysis above, it holds a specific and comprehensive study to strategies and implementation methods of contemporary college students'patriotic education. At first, I summarize the good ways of college students'patriotic education in three countries which is Amerycan, Japan and Korea. Next I study the good ways of contemporary college students'patriotic education in our country. The contemporary college students'patriotic education in our country may be made with a few means combined. They are: classroom theoretical education is combined with extracurricular theoretical education. The historical education is combined with the realistic national condition material education. The activities of school culture and entertainment practice are combined with the activities of social practice. Means of traditional methods are combined with methods of modern technology. Just doing that can truly improve the effectiveness of patriotic education of college students.
