| The cheerleading is a unique and attractive new athletic sport and lots of people in the world have been fond of this sport .China has entered the early stage of the development of cheerleading with the help of the International Cheerleading League, the impetus of the BeiJing Olympic Games and the efforts of China College Students Gymnastics Rhythmic Gymnastics Association (CSARA). With all these help, the development of cheerleading in China's has begun to take shape. The research on cheerleading campaign increases annually and is mainly in the development of college cheerleader's status of theoretical research, especially focus on cheerleading skills training and competition studies in southern Guangdong and Guangxi provinces. And less attention to national universities and the research has not reached to the northern cheerleading sports.In this paper, the research object is the cheerleading sport, the literature method; the expert interviews, the questionnaire survey method and the logical analysis are being used. Based on the previous research results and combine the basic situation of universities in Harbin, the issuance of questionnaires to ordinary students and student who are participated in Cheerleading sport has carried out, analyze their cheerleading cognitive, emotional and behavioral tendencies to accept the differences and the impact of cheerleading exercise to student's physical and mental health, social adaptation capacity. Furthermore, a questionnaire has handed out to teachers and had interviews with the experts such as domestic and foreign outstanding coaches and cheerleaders referees. And discussed the feasibility of cheerleaders in extra-curricular sports activities in schools in Harbin from the subjective and objective factors and came up with the implementation of relevant recommendations, hoping that this paper can increase the speed of the development and the popularization of the cheerleading sports in schools in Harbin.The results show that:1. Cheerleading is different from aerobics exercise, sports dancing, break dance and gymnastics and other related sports, it has unique advantages in philosophy in motion, features in action, , technological style and forms of conduct. It is not conflict to carry out cheerleading exercise and the other related campaigns at the same time but a useful exercise to explore new projects. The cheerleading exercise and the other related campaigns complement each other, both to help to improve the physical.2. There is only small promotion on cheerleading sport in schools in Harbin, students know little about cheerleading sport, about 65.61% students know nothing about the cheerleading sport, but the emotional acceptance survey showed that in general students are interested in cheerleading sport and students are looking forward to understand, to participate in cheerleading sports. These results provide a good atmosphere for the cheerleading sport is being conducted in schools in Harbin.3. The students who have participated in cheerleading sports are 37.75%, 63.79% and 51.34% higher than the ordinary students in their cognitive, behavior and likability tendency to cheerleading sport respectively. The study also shows that the quality of their physical, mental and social adaptability have different levels of increasing after participating in cheerleading sport.4. The cognition of cheerleading is not high among the teachers in schools in Harbin and there is only limited number of teachers are participated in the training. However, they are highly enthusiastic about cheerleading and are like to have more opportunities to participate in learning and training, and are willing to work for the promotion and popularization of cheerleading sports.5. The study shows that the objective conditions to conduct the cheerleading extra-curricular sports activities in universities in Harbin meet the basic cheerleading activities and training.The recommendations are made accordingly based on the findings in this paper. First of all, promote cheerleading sport vigorously and fully aware of the student interest in cheerleading sport and the impact of cheerleading exercise to student's physical and mental health. Secondly, to strengthen the cheerleading sports training and learning to help colleges and universities to carry out cheerleading extra-curricular sports activities scientifically. Thirdly,To improve the cheerleading sports' stadiums, venues and facilities and pave the way for a higher level of cheerleading. Fourthly, the effective implementation of the sun sports, make full use of the advantages of schools and universities and combine the cheerleading sport's characteristics. To explore the cheerleading methods and forms of extra-curricular sports activities in the process of developing cheerleading sport in extra-curricular sports activities and put into practice study. Seek effective diversity of forms of organization based on specific conditions and to conclude the theoretical and empirical basis to let the other schools in the region to learn from. |
