The Status In Quo And Countermeasure Of Table Tennis Elective Course Development In Dalian Common University

Table tennis is a sport which undergraduates compliment,it is in possession of a significant position in physical education classes of commom university.Its own unique entertaining, confrontational weak,physically less demanding, people easily mix and many other advantages,and could well meet the students exercise, leisure and entertainment needs,thus making undergraduates more receptive and it is popular with generally college students.But as the table tennis sport is accompanied by the constant movement in colleges and universities warming,corresponding also reflects some of the problems,so this paper through literature,expert interviews,questionnaires,mathematical statistics and logic analysis and deductive-inductive methods, visits and questionnaires 1600 students and 32 instructors in Liaoning Normal University, Dalian University, Dalian Jiaotong University, Dalian University of Technology, Dalian Medical University, Dalian Maritime University, Dalian University of Foreign Languages and the Northeast University of Finance and Economics and other eight University Table Tennis Course.The author find the means and methods of table tennis selected course in Dalian common university relatively reasonable,but modern teaching methods in table tennis selected course teaching are not effectively promoted and reasonable manner.And evaluation system is also relatively homogeneous, too much emphasis on the assessment of student learning outcomes at the expense of student learning assessment process and development. Secondly, the age structure of table tennis teachers are more reasonable, but education, the title of a technical post and professional situation is not ideal situation, in particular, reflects the lack of a group of highly educated professionals in table tennis. In addition, the students'activities after school carried out in table tennis is not good enough; communion among fraternal institutions and inter-school table tennis competitions hold the less.What's more, lack of hardware resources such as table tennis venues, equipment and some students can not meet the needs of fanciers of table tennis. On the basis of research,I hope to improve the means and methods of university table tennis teaching, consummate the evaluation system, construct the teachers, manage the facilities,and carry out the table tennis activities after school, put forward rationalization advices and countermeasures in order to improve the teaching status of table tennis selected courses in Dalian common university and enhance the table tennis sport in colleges and universities in Dalian to provide a sustainable development of the theory.
