The physique, namely human body quality, refers to the relatively stable characteristic of human body in the shape,physiology, biochemistry and behavior. Physique, the material base of vital activity and labor, reflects the level of vital activity and motor ability, so the physique may reflect the effect of sports on health. Along with the development of the society and progress of the culture, Ping-Pong becomes popular in the body and mind all-round development, the physique enhancement, the senility postponing and the life quality enhancement. Therefore, in order to promote the establishment of all-round development and the harmonious society, it is an urgent problem to play Ping-Pong fully, reasonably and effectively.In domestic and foreign countries, more researches stress on the physique test, exercise situation(mainly including exercise purpose, form, place and reasons to Influence exercise),as well as different occupation with the contrastive analyzes, but few on the middle-aged and old fitness.Moreover, the researches on the middle-aged and old Ping-Pong players'physique are less. Therefore, research on the middle-aged and old Ping-Pong players' physique will have vital practical significance.This article, based on the relations between the movement custom and the physique, investigates 60 middle-aged and old Ping-Pong players and 60 middle-aged and old other sportsmen's physique (such as Tai Chi,gymnastic exercise, jog and badminton) with the questionnaire. These sportsmen are from Sanmenxia Stadium, Geng Village Coal Mine Old Age Cadre Activity Center, Yima Coal Mine Professional School Retired Teacher Activity Center and so on. The physique test includes:body shape, body function and physical quality. According to the age and sex,the comparison is carried on between every two groups.In addition, we investigate the movement custom and influence factors related with physique improvement using the questionnaire.The factor which the analysis influence Ping-Pong exercise physique enhances.Therefore, this research will have the positive significance on enhancing the Ping-Pong player's physique.This article shows four aspects about physique condition of middle-aged and old people who take part in Ping-Pong exercise in Sanmenxia:(1)The physique of middle and old aged Ping-Pong exerciser in each group is slightly better than the same group of other project exercises,which both overmatch the standard of who did not exercise in 2005 national physique monitor report. It explains that frequent Ping-Pong exercise has the good significance in physique, also its effect is not less than other projects.(2)The specific characteristics of physical condition of the old table tennis training are as follows:in body shape, the players' body weights are slightly higher than the standard body weight; in body function, playing Ping-Pong often can improve the blood supply and body function;in physical quality, Ping-Pong may enhance middle-aged and old person's muscular strength, adjust their nervous system's function, and raise cerebrum's working efficiency.(3)The number of female Ping-Pong investigators moderate amount of exercise per week, while the male Ping-Pong investigators who do exercise four times(2 hours once) in a week is more bigger than other players',but it may be not scientific,so it is very important to popularize the exercise prescription.(4)The middle and old aged Ping-Pong players do less preparation and reorganization activity. There are many players who have a rest and smoke immediately after the exercise.Majority like replenishing water massively once.These bad customs may affect the physique of them.In view of the above questions, I have some suggestions:(1)Middle and old aged Ping-Pong exercisers should make use of every resource, abide by the expert's guidance and own evaluation to understand own physique condition.Then according to individual physique, we can carry on the appropriate movement and achieve the best exercise effect. (2) Middle and old aged Ping-Pong exercisers need to understand much about how to exercise scientifically, and correct those bad behaviors endangering own health in the Ping-Pong exercise as far as possible. Besides, it is boring to carry on the Ping-Pong exercise for a long time, if the middle and old aged Ping-Pong exercisers can add several other exercises which can make the whole body exercise, the effect will be better.
