Emotion is a psychological and sociological research areas. With the content and nature of emotion continuously improved and developed, the understanding of the emotion gradually become more rational. Emotion is no longer simply considered to be purely emotional, but it can be rational. This new understanding make legal scholar to do more in-depth analysis on the relationship between law and emotion in the legal field. Legal emotion is an important content of citizen legal concepts, which is also be neglected easily, even be denied. The same as natural emotion, moral sentiments, religious feelings, aesthetic emotion and other types of emotion, legal emotion is the part of emotion. The most significant difference between them is their object and social function. Compared to other types of emotion, legal emotion is a product of Legal Modernization, which is Spiritual support of the rule of law, legal emotion is citizens'psychological value of subjective experience and subjective attitude on legal system,legal phenomena and all the problems with law-related. It is not just personal emotional problem, but has an important meaning to social emotion. Civil legal emotion is divided into positive and negative. Citizens are satisfied with law, or reject it, or indifferent to it, which in fact are the concentrated expression of legal emotion. With growing of negative legal emotion, such as that not satisfied with the result of judicial, its social impact is more serious during the practice of law in China. So, it is necessary and urgent to nurture the positive legal emotion of citizens, Paper is divided into four parts:The first part, on the basis of the analysis of the problem of emotion, sort ting out,analysising and summarizing the concepts of civil legal emotion. And comparing with other concepts related to civil legal emotion, highlighting the characteristics and importance of legal emotion. In the end, pointing out the content of legal emotion in a general sense.The second part elaborates the factors affecting legal emotion generation from the historical, social, law itself, citizens and the practice on the rule of law. legal motion is a part of civil legal concept, which be heavily influenced by the legal culture. With the developing of economic and social, its content s are continuously changed and enriched. The law itself has constantly been improved, and the quality of citizens is enhanced, so which will directly affect the content and kind of legal emotion. The result of the practice on the rule of law directly reflects the emotional state of citizens. The various of the factors which are mutual influence, mutual promotion, generate legal emotion together with each other.The third part, with the development and improvement of the modern legal system, the final purpose of highlighting the significance of legal emotion is to accelerate the modernization of civil legal concept by training civil legal emotion. Thus, it can promote the modernization of China's legal system. Therefore, there offer several ways for training legal emotion.The fourth part, civil legal emotion has different content and focus in different countries, different times, and different stages of social development.
