The Characteristic Study Of Deng Xiaoping Theory

In the new historical period, led by Deng Xiaoping, the Chinese Communists put forward the question "what is socialism and how to build socialism" and made a brilliant reply. Deng Xiaoping Theory, the theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics hence came into being. This theory sticks to the basic principles of Marxism; it also reflects distinctive Chinese characteristics.Deng Xiaoping Theory has developed in the course of Chinese revolution, construction and reform. It has a special background as well as rich implications; it not only adheres to the basic principles of Marxism, but also embodies the distinctive with Chinese characteristics and the characteristics of the times. It is a milestone in the Chinese Communists' understanding of Marxism, which is of great significance for both the reform and opening up and the popularization of Marxism in China.In this paper, based on the existent research, the author analyses the characteristics of Deng Xiaoping Theory in terms of its epochal character, language, theoretical foundation, strategic layout and the target model. These characteristics of Deng Xiaoping come from the perfect combination of theory and present practices.
