| In recent years, with the increasing of Chinese comprehensive national strength and the development of international situation, nationalism in China shows a new trend of development. At the same time, the internet provides a new platform for the nationalism to spread ideas for its rapid development and it results in a phenomenon of nationalism on the net which is the performance of nationalism ideological trend under new medium condition.College students, who play as"FQ"in nowadays, are the main actors, broadcasters and audiences of nationalism on the net, and nationalism on the net is also one of the main instruments of college students to participate in politics. To study the interaction between nationalism on the net and college students is helpful to know more about nationalism on the net in China, also, it can help us to judge the impact of nationalism on the net in China over college student.This study uses textual analysis and case interview method. To define the concept and characteristics of nationalism on the net, the study analyses, concludes, summarizes a few major nationalist websites. Through 10 case interviews of college students, we get to understand the concern, involvement, participation means and understanding of contemporary college students of nationalism on the net. The study also involves in a number of communications theory and youth theory which is to be assumed and verified. The study attempts to describe the current problems of college students involved in nationalism on the net, and tries to bring forward feasible program of nationalism on the net in order to guide the students. |
