The Evolution Of The Attitude Of Malaysian Chinese Association On Chinese Language Education

Under the prevailing climate of Ethnic party politics,MCA,as the Malaysian largest Chinese-based political party,represents Chinese interests.Malaysian Chinese pinned MCA great expectation.However, due to the impact of Malaysian special environmental factors,adding the changes of the leaders of MCA,MCA subjects to the certain restrictions in Fighting for the rights and interests of Chinese,especially the attitude of MCA on Chinese education,which gradually deviated from the aim of Chinese Associations.It should be noted that the attitude of MCA on Chinese education to which this article refers is the attitude of MCA on the requirements of Chinese education development that Chinese Associations Proposed,not on the Chinese education policy implemented by the Government.MCA acts,to some extent,contrary to the wishes of the Chinese,eventually led to the MCA and Chinese Associations of long-term controversy.Based on analysis of the evolution of MCA and Chinese education policy,this article reveals how Malaysian special circumstances and the system of party politics affect the MCA on the attitude of Chinese education.
