Research On The Necessity, Feasibility And Strategy Of Cooperative Governance In Public Affairs Of Urban Communities

Since 1990s, with the deepening of the Economic System and Urban Management System reform, people pay more attention to the development of urban communities. For one thing, owing to social transformation caused by reform and opening up, new changes and characters have appeared in different social relations. In this context, social class division is clearer. Especially with the collapse of Unit System--enterprises performing social functions, urban communities have become the most important way of forming society. Its position has been raised highly. For the other thing, with the gradual rise and improvement of China's Civil Society, citizens' hope to claim their interests is becoming more and more stronger. Especially in governance of public affairs in the urban communities, this claim is clearer. The paper researches on the three aspects of cooperative governance in the public affairs of urban communities. They are necessity, feasibility and strategy. This has practical significance for innovating government idea in managing the urban communities and whipping enthusiasm of other subjects involving in the community governance.
