Mobilization And Organization Of Women's Federation On Village Women

The paper takes theory of modern state construction as analysis framework, mobilization theory as research perspective.After the study on transition of Women's Federation in Benxi County from the founding of PRC to the People's Commune period, the paper aims at clarifying the way that the party and the state mobilized women to get out of home,participate in politics,take part in social production and integrated women into state system to derive resources through Women's Federation.The full text is focused on the way that Women's Federation,as a functional,grass-root people group, built rural political organization network around the party,and then propagandized the central task of the party and state to mobilize rural women to achieve construction mission.The article studies the mobilization of Women's Federation in women's marriage and family,political participation and labour,learns different state-building strategies, mechanisms and ways in different periods by invegating the evolution of women's organization's aim,function,behavior and operation mode.The paper also observes in detail how the party and state make use of Women's Federation to organize and mobilize rural society,reconstruct rural marriage and family,social structures and social relationship to achieve extension and infiltration into rural society.First of all,Women's Federation chose marriage and family system as a breakthrough to explode traditional system,it helpt women to get rid of the traditional ideology,remodel women's ideology and mobilize women to break traditional system of marriage and family.This would break the limitations of traditional family community and transfer personal loyalty from famliy to the state,thus realized the purpose of rebuilding the relationship between the state and rural society.Secondly,the women,who were liberated from family,were important political and productive resources.In order to enhance women's understanding and psychological identity to policy,Women's Federation educated women with political sense and organized women to participate in political practice.Furthermore,Women's Federation,as the valve of women labor reservoir,could ruction better.By continuously self-adjusting center mission and promotion strategies,Women's Federation integrated women's productive resources to the maximum,thus guarantee the complication of national economic construction tasks.Therefore,after the founding of PRC,Women's Federation actually played two totally different roles,that was the "connector" between the Patry,state and women,and the "spokesman" for women,but there was tension between these two roles,which made the transconformation of Women's Federation inevitable.
