On The All-round Well-off Society In Harmony With The Positive Interaction

30 years ago, the 11 Third Session opened a Chinese new historical period of reform and opening up. 30 years of trials and hardships, from Deng Xiaoping, chief architect of reforming and opening up, Jiang Zemin, the decision maker of the policy of keeping the pace with the times, to Hu Jintao who insisted on the construction of a all-round well-off harmonious society, generations and generations of Chinese Communists led the people of all nationalities a broke through of tradition "the forbidden areas", bridging over gaps, and overcoming difficulties. Finally, we obtained the great achievements of reforming and opening up to the world which not only have made the focus of attention in today's world and profited the state and the people. In these 30 years, the Communist Party of China has always adhered to Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought, Deng Xiaoping Theory and "Three Represents" as guidance, implement the scientific development concept, and have proposed successively two important strategic concepts: the building of a well-off society and building a harmonious socialist society. Then, what is the relationship between these two concepts? Building a socialist harmonious society and building a well-off society are two different strategic concepts which the CPC Central Committee put forward in the process of building socialism with Chinese characteristics. They are two different concepts with different connotations .The two of them have both distinction and connection. Each of them has different social problems to solve and different points to focus. But from the perspective of their development goals they are before and after the succession with relationship of the same strain. Since reforming and opening up, China has achieved magnificent achievement, but also accumulated a number of factors of disharmonious problems. In this case, the scientific understanding and accurate grasping of the our country's profound changes in society, clearly proposing and actually building a harmonious socialist society is just the objective requirement of fully implementing the scientific development concept and building a all-round well-off society. Especially when the current reform and opening up of our country as well as the construction of the socialist modernization are at a crucial stage; the economy and society entered a "golden development period" but is also "a period of prominent contradictions"; the relationship between the various interests of each other are mutual entangled; all kinds of social contradictions are of complexity; the various kinds of social thoughts agitate each other; to build a harmonious socialist society objectively becomes even more prominent and necessary . Therefore, how to correctly understand and deal with the relationship between building a socialist harmonious society and constructing a all-round well-off society are of great significance for setting up as well as implementing the scientific concept of development, promoting socialist material civilization, political civilization , spiritual civilization and constructing a harmonious society .
