The Reasons Of The "Power Peak Defection" Phenomenon In Chinese Women's Participation In Politics And The Countermeasure Research

As the development of the society , women's participation in politics becomes an important evaluating standard of women's liberty of the nation and a mark of the democracy process in this country . In recent years , women's participation in politics has been attached great importance to and many female polititians have became the leaders of their countries , who have made great contribution to their national administration and international comunication . Under this international circumstance , and as is constrained by some objective and subjective factors , Chinese women's process of taking part in politics is not smooth . Among all the obstacles , the phenomenon of"power peak defection"deserves our special attention . What is"power peak defection"? What are the reasons of this phenomenon ? How can we deal with it ? We will discuss all of this in this paper .There are three parts of this paper . The first part discuss the current situation of Chinese women's participation in politics ; the second part analyzes the reason of the phenomenon of"power peak defection"; the third part raises some advises of solving the problem on the basis of a thorough understanding of the reasons .The first part defines the meaning of women's participation in politics , scopes the circle of this paper , and makes clear the angle of the research . Then this paper makes a general statement of the basic situation of the Chinese women's participation in politics under the proof of big amount of data and tables , and under this basis the paper raises the main problem of Chinese women's participation in politics . That is : the low proportion of women in politics and the phenomenon of"power peak defection". And I think among all the problems , the phenomenon of"power peak defection"is the question of substance .The second part analyzes the reasons of the phenomenon of"power peak defection". Only when we find the reasons of the problem can we find the way to solve the problem . This paper attributes the reasons to three aspects , that is : cultural factor , systematic factor and personal factor . Cultural factor includes the stereotype against the women caused by tradition and the strenghten of this stereotype by the media ; systematic factor includes the unsound woman-leader nourishing system , the incomplete system of chooseing and the unfair system of retirement ; personal factor includes the women's low cultural qualities , not having strong will to take part in politics , the loss of the subjective consciousness , the lack of group consciousness and the family and generating burden .The third part raised the solutions of the"power peak defection"problem on the basis of the analyzing of the reason . Firstly , we should optimize the external environment , including creating and optimizing a developed sexual culture , a better media environment , a favorable policy environment , a sound personnel managing system and the Women's Federation which plays a positive role in politics . Secondly , women should realize self-transcendence , including enhancing self-quality , abandoning masculinization , performing elastic leading art and creating harmonious working relationship . This part is the innovating part of this paper . It not only gives the suggestions to alter the external environment , but also emphasize the female leaders's self-transcendence . This transcendence is not only a common sense enhancement of self-quality . It also includes the living philosophy of how to give full scope of their own advantages , make up for weak points and deal with complicated interpersonal relationship .
