Research On The Development Of The System Of Regional Ethnic Autonomy Of The CPC In The New Era

Regional ethnic autonomy system is one of the basic policies adopted by the Communist Party of China to resolve the ethnic issues, and it is also one of our country's basic political systems. This system is made on the basic Marxist principles of the ethnic issues, in light of China's specific conditions, and through the long-term revolution and the process of practice. Implementing this policy is a correct path in China which is suitable for China's national conditions.Since the reform and the opening- up , China's regional ethnic autonomy work has entered a new stage. We have not only resumed ethnic work organization entirely but also renewed the effective ethnic policies used in the past, and at the same time we have put forward the new measures to solve the new regional ethnic autonomy issues according to the fact, we have got great success in this aspect. In the new age of constructing moder-comfortable life sociaty, we must not only uphold the system of regional ethnic autonomy wavering, but also ensure that the system of regional national autonomy will continue to develop and improve. Research on the theory and practice of the system of regional national autonomy in the new era is conducive to uphold and improve the system of regional ethnic autonomy, to improve the party's ability to govern; it has important theoretical and practical significance in protecting equal rights of minorities, resolving ethnic problems, the promotion of national unity and development, safeguarding the motherland's reunification and opposition to national splittism, and maintaining social stability , accelerating the ethnic areas' economic and cultural development, achieving common prosperity of all nationalities, and promoting social progress.This paper is divided into the following three parts:In the first part, the author first introduces the guiding principles of Marxist theory, and then analyses the theory background and the practice course of the regional ethnic autonomy system of the Party in the new era.The second part explores the issues faced by the Communist Party of China in developing the regional ethnic autonomy system in the new era, including issues in the process of building the legal system and in implementation of the system of regional national autonomy.In the third part, the author studies the main measures and approaches in improving the system of regional ethnic autonomy of the Party in the new era.
