Research On Welfare Reform During The Period Of German Socialist Democratic Party Administration From 1998 To 2005

Since 1990s , a new important political phenomenon in western society is the rise of the Third Way, and the reform of social welfare system is the most important aspect in the political thought. Along with the economical globalization and the rise of new technical revolution , welfare state suffered the great challenge of politics, economics, society and so on. Each government has taken measures to reform and regulate existing welfare regime. Among these reforms , Gerhard Schroeder ' s German Socialist Democratic Party claims the Third Way. At the moment, the idea of The Third Way on welfare state is the main growing trend of western state. It is of great importance both in theory and practice in term of the research for the topic above.This article is based on the social welfare system as the starting point, it is mainly designed to resolve the following problems . At first, the generalization of social welfare system in Germany after the Second World War is introduced . And then comes the part of analysis and appraisement of the reform in arrays concerning the social welfare system under the power of Socialist Democratic Party Administration, including the background, contents, basic principles and performing effects. Finally, inspirations in five aspects have sprung into visual line, including relations between rooting in status-quo of China and learning from the international experiences, relations between the social welfare and economical development as well as relations between social welfare and social employment, relations between the role of country, enterprise and person as well as insistences on the role of non-profit organization, family hood and individuality during the process of exploration for the construction of social welfare system.
