The relationship between people and animals is an old topic, the different cultures and religions all had different thinking about animals. In traditional western philosophy, the sympathy for animal is not related to rational and ethical but sensitive, and, in the Christian there is no fatwas of sympathy for animals. In traditional culture and religion of China and India, human have important obligations and responsibilities to animals. The theory of animal rights is one of trends of thought in modern animal protection movement; hope to protect animals by giving animals the rights. However, the nature of right determines that animal can not become the subject in the law; the theory is facing many theoretical and practical difficulties. By expanding the scope of the obligations of human and taking animals into the moral care is a very good mentality; this obligation is based on human themselves, the emotional and rational.
