On The Origin, Alienation And Regression Of Public Power

As the leading force in existence and development of the social organization, the public power promotes the evolution of the society in good order. The research of public power is consequently regarded as one of the significant courses in modern political science and alienation.This paper focus on the analyses of theories about the public power with the conduction of historical materialism and dialectical materialism, and with the method of historical comparison. The researching aim is to get detailed and comprehensive investigation in the whole historical course of the origin; alienation and regression of public power, further reveal its essence and speculate the future.This research was organized with a sequence of the historical development. First, there is a study on the origin of public power in its primary form. The research achievements in many fields such as the sociology, the anthropology, the psychology and the economics are used here, and the study approaching to the origin of public power is developed from the logic starting point of history, taking social foundation and the human nature factor as the analyzing aspects.Then, during the following thousands of years of slave society, feudal society and capitalism society, the public power has gone away from its primary condition gradually and grown into political power of the ruling class, state power and personal power, which is called the alienation of public power. This paper probes into the exhibitions of alienation in all of the historical periods and makes comparison on the alienation phenomenon either in different social patterns or in different countries of the same period, in order to generalize the essence, features and patterns of public power alienation in different historical periods and penetrate deeply into the inherent logic of the development of public power. Especially, the paper poses that public power in capitalism society has already possessed the elements and tendency of regression, whereas that in socialism society has still been in danger of dissimilation, thus the way of pulling the state political power back to pure public power is proposed.At last, the regression of public power is a kind of historical trend that has emerged from the recent period on. This paper analyses the development of human society trend, derived when the country after the demise that public power would take a form of complete social autonomy once the state dies out, jointly owned by all the people, then analyses the basis and requirements for the existence of such social autonomy, and prospect the future society of human being.
