| Liang Qichao was a famous politician and philosopher in modern history of China. His contribution in law was ignored for a long time, but Liang'status as a jurist was widely accepted by many scholars recentlyâ‘ , especially the thought of constitutionalism was attended to. This dissertation reviews and summarizes the research situation of Liang's thought of constitutionalism, explores his thought's origin and feature, summarizes its vertical structure, seeks the unchanged part in Liang's changing thought, discusses the reason why his thought turn from radical to moderate, summarizes the feature and rule of the change of Liang's thought of constitutionalism .
