Abstract/Summary:
After two years of scientific and researching study in the field of foreign philosophy, I am familiar with the theme of philosophy itself in focusing on meaning of life. For political philosophy, it concerns itself with complicated social relationships among classes. This paper delves itself into equality thought of Pierre Lela's famous French capitalism philosopher. His equality thoughts are mainly influenced with Reuse's thoughts. The cruel reality of incompleteness of French Revolution made him reflect on the capital revelatory slogan: liberty, equality and fraternity and criticize then governing situation of French capitalism. In rousse's book, beginning with uncivilized people from the most primitive state, he made a unique read on the origin of human inequality from the viewpoint of influences from social development and various coincident. It is a gradual, while an occasionally inevitable historic development route: from no wealth to owning private wealth; from satisfying personal life demands to owning surplus products; from owning other's assets unconsciously to consciousness.During the savage time, the highest form of fight among individuals fall on conflicts about living necessities and physiological demands. Once the demand was met, there was no fight. And the result of fights is always the same: one part was forced to give up assets or chance of meeting his physiological demand and the other succeeded in either. There was no moral rules and rare interactions among primitive people. The reason in forming human society lies in the following fact: occasionally seeking food in masses. In collective activities, individuality disappeared gradually, strong body conditions declined without consciousness; different social tasks enlarged the sex physical differences, and all these factors put together took on the original form of human society. When human collective activities become a normal phenomenon, it is seldom to see fights between individual and beasts, however, food seeking activities succeeded more than ever. In this process, the savage people had learnt to accumulate surplus living materials and developed their skills in improving tools at spare time. With the increase of collective activities and technology, they had more leisure time.In addition, collective life offered more chances for young people of opposite sex to get together, during this frequent contact they dipped differences and similarities in their physical bodies, causing early preferences. It is this preference that developed in their early ages developed itself into a new drive for respect, and then the earliest style of politeness. During the period without moral rules, the punishment level of conflicts resulted from disrespect is set by individuals, thus creating the third reason—self-esteem. With the increase of production, improvement of living standards, people began to own their private assets: shelters, which were the base of steady families. When one individual has acquired strength and wealth more than he could share, inequality appeared. With the deeper deterioration of human thoughts, the society moved forward into a man-eat-man slave society, exploitative feudal society and machine-oriented capitalism. This is the root of human inequality.Piearre lela saw clearly the real inequality behind capitalism's unequal p(?)inciples and proposed his criticism on hypocritical free beliefs of capitalism. As he ever put: we live in society that is coming to its unequal end and is entering a new equal one. Equality is what human being pursues. This process is also human being's development history. The highest form of human society is an equal one. Lelu severely criticized different hierarchical life based on family private ownership, state-owned private ownership, and assets private ownership and brought up his idea of building an equal society. According to his thought, the society is a collective life based on religion-marked with common diets without any impartiality. He made an analysis and critic on Greek equality modes with examples and relevant theory. Greek equality was confined into inner city life, while for outer citizens and slaves, they oppressed and forced them to labor and even viewed them as private assets to be sent on markets freely. So it is a quite limited equality. In addition, he also made critics on Platonic and Aristotle's social theories and revealed the root of Plato's Republic inequality. Beginning with Plato's republic's equal idea, going through ancient legislators equal ideas and until Jesus' equality among the whole world, Le lu finally, put forward to his own idea of an equal society based on religions. Unquestionably, his thought of the equal society was not without limitations, but it has great positive effects on Marxism's scientific socialism.Above is what this paper tries to delve into, and leave a further range for deeper research.
