From the government perspective, this essay analyses the reasons for the unexpected event of the group. At present, China is in a period of social transition. The social economic structure of our country is going through enormous and deep changes. Economic composition, interests pattern, lifestyle, social organizational forms and values are quite different from the one in the past. Social contradictions, which were brought by the social transforms, on the condition of certain"trigger", easily lead to mass emergencies. The unexpected events of the group have been serious social problems which are challenging the government ability.This essay analyses the unexpected group events from there aspects. First, the article analyses the social background of the unexpected group events. It refers to the social class differentiation, incoming polarization, value diversification as well as the awareness of right. All these changes lead to the social contraction which can easily cause the unexpected group events when there is an excitement.Second, the article analyses the psychological mechanism of the unexpected group event. It is going to explain how the individual action change into collective action and why the individual becomes more irrational in the collective action.Third, the article tries to find out the mass communication factors in the unexpected group event. The information transmission plays an important role in the mass event. Without the information transmission, a common sense cannot be formed among the people, and the people cannot get together either. In addition, during the unexpected group event, the mass media will greatly influence the state of the event.At last, the article gives some advices on how to effectively solve the social contraction and deal with the unexpected group event.
