Inculcation and heuristics theory in ideological and political education arehaving the glorious historical origin, also they are having the important statusin ideological and political education, are developing the vital role. As soon asinculcation and heuristics theory in ideological and political education forms,there are two kinds of school of thought which completely opposes. Personswho initiate heuristic theory request to abolish inculcation theory and personspersisting inculcation theory repel heuristics theory, this kind of resistancecontinues until now. Now, the ideological and political education reform is onthe rise. That how but correctly know and deal with the relations betweeninculcation and heuristics theory in ideological and political education, havethe vital significance for enhancing actual effect of ideological and politicaleducation. Very long period of time, in ideological and political educationdomain, have two kinds phenomenon namely "hardly not to can fill" and"open continuously do not enlighten". These two kinds of phenomenafrequently the puzzled the teachers, and is affecting the implementation ofideological and political education, once causes it to fall into the difficultposition. Its basic reason lies in not correctly the understanding and processingthe relations between inculcation and heuristics theory. With Marxistfundamental principles as my guidance, I adopt theories and methodologies inmodern sociology, ideological pedagogy and the like to approach the study subject from a multitude of perspectives and dimensions,with a purpose ofanalyzing the relations between inculcation and heuristics theory. Proposedinculcation theory is not the opposition of heuristics theory in ideological andpolitical education, but is the dialectical unification. Their relations inideological and political education are inseparable. We will believe theunderstanding and processing the relations between inculcation and heuristicstheory, avoids the viewpoint and the procedure of metaphysics, will beadvantageous to the promotion effective development ideological and politicaleducation.
