As its special strategic location and abundant oil resources, the Middle East region has always been the focal point of great powers in history. Today, the theme of our world is "Peace and Development". So the Middle East peace process is important to the harmonious development of the whole world. How to push on the Middle East peace process, especially the Arab-Israeli peace process is still a hot issue to be solved for the theorists on current international relations.Water conflict has been a key factor constraining the Arab-Israeli peace. Especially at present, for the resources competition becomes hotter and hotter, its influences on the international relations have caused far more attention. To explore the realization of the Arab-Israeli peace from the perspective of resources cooperation is the writing focus of this essay. Based on the conflict between Arabs and Israelis in the Jordan Basin Region, this thesis analyzes the water resources cooperation in this region in order to find the way to achieve peace between the Arabs and Israelis on the water resources.This thesis consists of four parts. In the first two parts, the author discusses the necessity and feasibility of the Arab-Israeli cooperation on the water resources from theoretical and practical perspectives. These parts pave the way for the below, and also illustrate the significances of this thesis. Then, in the third part, based on analyzing the present situation of the water negotiations between Arabs and Israel, the author points out the difficulties of the existing cooperation. Finally the fourth part is considered to be the concluding part of the whole thesis. On the basis of the above discussion, the author demonstrates the future means to water cooperation between Arabs and Israel in the Jordan Basin Region here, which is to establish a sensible and valid regional condominium mechanism. It includes three main points. First, the cooperation must be scientific; secondly, the cooperation should stress regional condominium; lastly, a powerful mechanism is necessary to guarantee the cooperation.Cooperation is the inevitable choice to mitigate the Arab-Israeli water conflict. The author believes that, as long as we move in the right direction, the Arab-Israeli cooperation on water resources there will have a much better tomorrow, and the Arab-Israeli peace process, even the entire Middle East peace process would be advanced much more smoothly.
