A Preliminary Analysis On The ASEM And The Strategic Choice Of China To Promote The ASEM's Development

The thesis begins with a simple introduction of the ASEM, and points out its positive and active role in the politics dialogue,the economic cooperation and the science and culture exchange between the Asia and the Europe. Besides, this part refers to the important influence on the promotion to realize new international political and economic order, to enhance the international status and influence of the memberships of the ASEM..The second part involves that in these years, with international situations changing and developing, the cooperation expanding, the ASEM is facing a series of difficult problems now. The primary analysis on this dilemma also is involved in this part.And then, this thesis projects the promising prospect of ASEM, and offers some advice on how to get rid of those kinds of difficult situations, and what kind of measure we can take to promote the development of the ASEM.The last part clarifies China's response to the ASEM, just as the thesis points out, China, as a responsible regional country, as an important power in the world multipolarization, should positively participate in promoting the development and active interaction of the ASEM and China.
