Study On Elderly Organization Support In China Under The Background Of Below-replacement And Population Aging

Undoubtedly, as a kind of world development trend, the productivity development is a decisive factor of population aging. However, there exist great differences in different countries and regions in population aging because of the differences in politics, economy, and cultural tradition of various countries. As regards China, the family planning policy in the seventies of the 20th century makes fertility rate drop swiftly and violently, and then the paces of aging in China are very fast. Considering the connection between old rate and below-replacement fertility rate, below-replacement fertility and population aging is obvious in China.There exits challenges that how to solve the problem of elderly supporting at the time of aging. With a series of fruitful reforms to the social security system in China, the support condition of old people especially that of urban elderly has been improved obviously, while another respect of the problem of elderly caring become gradually serious. The tradition of the family support should be safeguarded, while it can not ensure elderly life quality with the increasing caring needs of the oldest old, disabled solitary elderly. Therefore, social elderly caring system appears. The social caring system emphasizes the function of elderly caring transfer from family to the part of the society, which includes community and organization elderly caring.This dissertation mainly discuss theories and relevant policy about organization elderly caring under the background of aging , system reform of social welfare system and elderly structure. There are seven chapters in the dissertation:Chapter one: The preface. In this chapter, it will examine the introduction on the background, purpose and meaning, research approaches and means of the dissertation.Chapter two: documents survey to domestic and international elderly organization caring.Chapter three: it will discuss demand and supply of elderly for organization caring on the basis of analysis of elderly structure characteristics in China.Chapter four: it will analyze comparative advantage in China. Firstly, it will compare advantages and disadvantages, cost and utility among community, family and organization support. Secondly, organization caring can provide more employment opportunities.Chapter five: it will discuss development focus of organization caring and put forward policy to develop it. China should focus on the development of basic and nursing-type caring organization to meet the urgent demands of poor old man and the old man who can not take care of themselves.Chapter six: it will discuss government's policy and the products orientation of organization caring.Chapter seven: it will analyze the problem of spirit support in caring organization and structure the social support network to meet the spirit demands of elderly.
