Our attention to the moral education is an indisputable fact; however, our inefficient moral education is also an objective reality. Moral education is urgent affairs in our times. While strengthening the overall environment of the citizens' ethics, it is particularly important to strive to improve the effectiveness of moral education.There have been many studies and formed relatively consistent view in the view of moral educational effectiveness, while lacking the research of moral repayment. For a long time, "Doing good deeds without any repayment" is traditional mainstream of our morality, and moral repayment always is so overlooked that there are still a lot of people in wonder: Does morality need repayment? Recently, some people proposed "moral repayment" and emphasized its important in our moral life. In order to roundly understand moral repayment and its utilization in moral life, this paper tries to explain the background, connotation, characteristic, feasibility, necessity as well as implementary strategy of moral repayment from theory and practice.This paper analyzes the reasons of moral educational inefficiency from the antinomy phenomenon of the moral education inefficiency and puts forward that we should deeply reflect on our moral education and find out the essential conditions which make the moral education efficient, that is to say, the moral education should lay foundation on human being and start from practice to study real humanity rather than the fantastic, promoted humanity.After comparison and contrast, this article tells: there exists dialectic relationship between moral right and moral duty, moral repayment is a kind of inner request of morality. Moral repayment has deep moral educational, humanistic and psychological basis, which is the necessary requirement of harmonious society and is both necessary and feasible. However, the system of moral education results to the inefficiency of moral education. To elevate the practical effect, we have to obey the reality, insist on the human-oriented concept and abandon the outdated moral tradition "doing good deeds without any repayment", and then construct an organ of "Good will be rewarded with good".
