The Nongovernmental Organization From The Perspective Of New-Countryside-Building

The agriculture issues have always been taken into consideration by the government and scholars, especially when the policy, building a new socialist countryside were established as an important mission in modernization drive. What kind of countryside should to be built and how to build it can not come to an agreement among different governments and scholars. Setting up many folk nongovernmental organizations is one of important mode. This thesis will discuss the background and function of folk nongovernmental organization taking four country organizations in HuBei province as case.Presently, in countries especially which lie in the middle and the west of China, because of the lack of social welfare and the weakening of the quality of family care, the living condition and the quality of life of the elderly are unsatisfactory. So it is a vital part of the new countryside building project. The senior citizen organization which take "making the elderly happy" as its objective makes for better life by making the most of usable resources, at the same time also actuate the village community welfare.Why does the senior citizen organization continue in existence ? In order to answer this question, the author researched the daily actions of the organization, and then found that the substantial factors which influence the organization are political opportunity, community culture and the authorities of the organization. At the last part of this thesis, based on the discussion , the author wants to explore the methods setting up the folk nongovernmental organization and building new countrysides.
