The "Big Beijing" economy zone makes the possibility of leapin g-impro-vement of Langfang city's the economy, the informatization of Langfang city will gives the city a better circumstance for attract--ing investments.In this article, we first discuss the background of the problem and theoretical foundations of the article. We will give an overview of the general state of city informatization arround the world and point out main features and problems in the development of city informatization in our country. We will then investigate the situations in Langfang city. We will study existing problems and analyze the content and objective of Langfang informatization plan.This article uses comparative analysis and positive analysis to analyze various advantages, disadvantages and opportunities in Langfang area. Based on existing experience in city informatization of other cities and Langfang's own strength, and its connections to informatization building of the "Big Beijing" economy zone, we will provide an overview of the information infrastructure in Langfang andas trategic goal for its future devel-opment. we propose a strategic plan for its future development of the information in Langfang.
