The Research On Development Of Business Tourism In Changsha City

As an important sector of tourism industry,business tourism has being fast increased substainably in china since 1980's.Although, under the influence of economic fluctuation in 1990's, it had being been at much higher development speed within world tourism industry. It has become the new trend of tourism industry with much positive contribution to social economic development.Based on the theories of the sustainable development,the newly theories of the industrial economics, urban science, geography of tourism and leisure,tourism & hospitality marketing, morden ecology, etc., the author tries to probe its principle modes and practical types, so as to reconstruct an ideal pattern of optimazation in business tourism for our country and especially for Changsha city.This thesis consists of six parts as follows:The first part is an introduction.It mainly discusses purposes and necessibility of the thesis, including its research contents, research methods and a brief review of business tourism at home and abroad .The second part attends to summarize business tourism basic theories.The writer tries to define its concept, to identify its category and characteristics, industrial and product structures of business tourism.The third part is the situation and experiences from foreign countries and domestic cities of china.Taking France, UK and its capital London as foreign exapmples, and Shanghai city as a domestic example, Changsha would learn and benifit from the above examples in business tourism.The forth part analyzes on its development conditions of the business tourism in changsha city.With a SWOT analysis, the author points out some development conditions and present problems of the business tourism in Changsha city.The fifth part outlines several development counterplans of business tourism in Changsha.Based on the principle of the sustainable development , the author suggests to establish industry policies and planning guide,strategies of marketing,branding, internationalization competition , human resources ,etc.At the same time,it should highlight industrial management, crisis management and environment management of the business tourism in changsha city.
