| A nation or a region's economic development would not be possible without the support of resources. In line with the international practice, human resources, among various economic resources, are usually referred to as the primary resources. Talent resources are the core of the human resources. Therefore, in economic development, any nation or region should pay attention to developing and utilizing human resources, especially talent resources. Distribution of human resources is an important link in the development and utilization of human resources, through which a balance between supply and demand can be achieved, so as to meet the demand from the economic development on human resources and promote regional economic development.Ever since the initiation of reform and open-up policy, Fujian has made rapid economic development. Accordingly, the development of human resources in Fujian has also witnessed remarkable achievements. However, on the whole, there still exist many problems in human resources: the imbalanced distribution, overall shortage in the supply of talents, irrational structure, shortage of high-level talents particularly for the need of major industries and unsound distribution mechanism. These problems have, to a certain degree, restricted the sustained development of major industries in Fujian. How to develop and utilize human resources has become an important and urgent problem in providing intellectual support to the development and expansion of major industries and promoting the sustained and sound economicdevelopment in Fujian.Guided by the Marxist theory and drawing lessons from the development and practice of human resources in some countries and regions, this paper elaborates on the relationship between distribution of human resources and sustainable economic development. Based on the status quo in Fujian, it explores the ways on the basis of the government's macro-regulation, to set up market distribution mechanism and give a full display to the fundamental distribution role of the market to optimize the distribution of human resources and promote the development of major industries, seeking to provide a scientific basis in theory on economic development for governments at various levels in Fujian. |
