Analysis Of Current Status Of Counterfeit And Substandard Drugs In China And Exploration On Its Administration Measures

Drug is a kind of commodity, which is the breath of life to health of people . When drug is up to standard and use rationally, it can save life and protect health of people. Conversely, it can delay remedy, or even produce toxic and side effect harmful to the health and life of people.Hence, to ensure drug quality and use safely effectively and rationally, to seriously prohibit production and distribution of counterfeit and substandard drugs, and to protect the health of people are the keyproblems in drug regulation of all governments.In the thesis, current status of counterfeit and substandard drugs and their characters were discussed. Then explore scientific and effectivecounter measure from aspects of pharmaceutical law and regulation anddrug regulation. Method is following:Firstly, take the sample of counterfeit cases from official web and get data. After analyze, current status of counterfeit and substandard drugs in our country is concluded. Then classify three kinds and deeprespectively discuss their characters, which is the basis of the followingexploration.Secondly, from the aspect of pharmaceutical law and regulation, explore the way to administrate counterfeit and substandard drugs. At first, introduce American relevant pharmaceutical law and regulation of non-qualified drugs. Then find out the problems in our country drug regulation of counterfeit and substandard drugs.
