The emphasis of corporate management is using and exploiting human resource. And the emphasis of using and exploiting human resource is motivating employee. Through many years researching and practicing, corporations in developed-countries have built up comparatively good human resource motivation system. However, this is just a beginning for many enterprises in China.In the human resource motivation system, the compensation system is the most important and essential part than the others. A scientific and rational compensation system with principles of equity, encouragement and competition, is crucial for human resources strategy development of an enterprise. But it is not good in many Chinese enterprises. Nowadays, the reformation of ownership is taking place in many state-owned corporations. The innovation of labor-relation and compensation is coming soon. My main purpose of writing this thesis is to analyze problems in state-owned corporation's compensation system and find out which method is the best way for compensation reformation.First, I will introduce the modern motivation theories and compensation theories including the functions, influences factors and basic forms of compensation management. Second, show the situation of management and compensation system in ZhangJiaKou Coal Mining machinery Limited Company (Zmm Co.Ltd). Analyze this condition and shortcoming of compensation system and try to find out the way to develop it. Then, determine and choose the new compensation system which increase the indemnificatory, justice, inspirit, cost-saved of compensation. The last, use mathmatics model to show how to motivate employee. I design a compensation system based in post and performance, reduce the base compensation and increase performance compensation in order to incentive.Under the direction of modern theory of compensation, integrating the concrete reality of Zmm Co.Ltd, the thesis applies theory to reality and designs the compensation program. In the thesis, the ways of quantitative and qualitative are used in a great number to support the basic viewpoints and specific measures.
