Study Of Women's Political Participation In Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region

Women's liberation is an important signal of progress of human society, and women's political participation is an advanced form of women's liberation. Women's political participation does not only have significant influence on the democracy of our country, but also an important symbol for measuring the civilization level in China. Some scholars in China had studied women's political participation from different aspects, and put forward some policy recommendations. However, researches in women's political participation in Guangxi are few. Taking the existing situation and the author's location into account, I choose women's political participation in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region as my study program.After studying the current and history situation of women's political participation in, the author found that there are several problems such as, the legal system is imperfect, the proportion of women in politics is not high, and low awareness of women in politics,etc. These problems have come from the women's subjective reasons, but also from economic, political, historical, social and other objective reasons. In reference to foreign countries and elsewhere in the country based on the experience of women's political participation , the author think we should gradually improve the legal environment for women's political participation. Take full advantages of Guangxi autonomous Region, strengthen women's organizations'function to promote implementation of women's political participation. At the same time, we should improve women's awareness of political participation as well as political participation skills. In addition, we should give full play to the role of public opinion to make positive influence of women's political participation.
