According to our understanding of the field survey, most AIDS orphans in rural areas are to be arranged around the main body of the upbringing of their, this is because the age of AIDS orphans and the identity of the decision. AIDS orphans in the group but there are also active outside of the circle to its main living area or the type of community for help, And this group is often academic research in policy-making process or be ignored, I believe that through the active assistance of the research-based AIDS orphans will help fill this academic gap, while that for the AIDS orphans the development of social welfare policy to provide empirical or theoretical basis.This article perspective of the social transformation and the construction of subject, the author combine the specification and empirical research methods, describe and analyze "seeking behavior" of AIDS orphans in rural areas in northern Hubei Province. In the survey study, we find some AIDS orphans have certain self-awareness; they can take the initiative to seek help and be able to choose their social resources agent. Based on the understanding of this "seeking behavior", we divided AIDS orphans into two categories: active and passive recipients of assistance groups, according to the attitude AIDS orphans have in access to social support resources. Focus on the help seeking behavior of active recipients, see passive recipients of AIDS orphans as a reference group. In the first chapter we first describe the living area of rural AIDS orphans, investigate their resources for support, analyze the situation and defects of their needs satisfaction. The second chapter describes process and dilemma of the help-seeking behaviors of rural AIDS orphans, compares the living situation between active and passive recipients of assistance groups, and measures the differences on the impact of socialization. The third chapter examines AIDS orphans help-seeking behaviors on the impact of child welfare policy, and the passive construction and limitations of the current child welfare system.
