The Research On Mainland Legislation Of Oversea Chinese Affairs And Its Effect On The Oversea Chinese Investment

In addition to more and more business opportunities, a good investment environment is also needed to attract oversea Chinese capital. While legal environment as the most important element of the investment environment, provides a reliable protective system to it. Therefore, a consummate legislation can provide a favorable investment environment to attract more oversea Chinese capital, and is of great significance to the modernization of China. Under this circumstance, both sides across the Taiwan Strait take the legislation on the oversea Chinese affairs as a key part of the foreign policy. The thesis is trying to analyze the advantages and disadvantages brought by mainland's laws and regulations that are related to overseas Chinese, by taking into consideration the overseas Chinese investment and remittances in mainland. It is also trying to make a contrast between policy-making and the current situation of oversea Chinese investment in Taiwan and that in mainland. It aims to bring up the problems and directions that our Party should pay attention to when dealing with oversea Chinese affairs especially the legislation concerning them; to provide a useful reference to the decisions our Party and Government will make on the oversea Chinese affairs.
