With the pace of the construction of new socialist countryside, college-graduate village official is becoming more familiar to people. Because the conditions are more complicated in the countryside, it put forward high requirements for the graduates' competency. However, neither the management department nor the college-graduate know clearly about which competencies are important. This research select college-graduate village official from Municipality of Beijing as sample, research the competency model of college-graduate village official.The research used methods such as literature study,questionnaire survey and focus group interview to collect data. The Specific research process as follows:Firstly, on the base of the conclusion and the methods of the foregoing researcher, we initially research the competency model of college-graduate village official. Secondly, we use empirical works, which includes questionnaire survey and focus group interview to research. At last, we get the conclusion that the competency model of college-graduate village official contains 15 competencies:interpersonal communication competenc, responsibility, adaptability, verbal expression, value-oriented, organization and coordination, self-management skills, political literacy,teamwork skills, learning skills, information gathering abilities, professional knowledge and skills, research capacity, new technology applications, ability to offer advice and suggestions.The results and findings in this research can be helpful for college-graduate village official in the aspects of "select" and "train".
