The Study On Legal Issues About Functions Of Township Governments Under The Supply Of Public Goods In Rural Areas

Public goods, which are supplied for the different needs of consumption for rural household, are non-exclusive and public welfare of the kinds of material or service products. In the process of construction of the new countryside, the effective supply of public goods in rural areas can meet the material and cultural needs of the farmers, improve the living standards of farmers, while enhance the agricultural productivity, play a pivotal role in promoting the rural economic and social development. When supplying the rural public goods, the township government is the provider of public goods in rural areas. But the township government in a totalitarian style sometimes did not provide good public products and services. At present, there are a lot of problems exist in the process of supply, such as the absence of the main provider, the insufficiency of the public goods in rural areas, the imbalanced and inefficient supply of the goods among different regions.
