Proper interchange in police officers'posts in the General Station of Entry-and-Exit Frontier Inspection (hereinafter referred to GSFI) takes advantages to optimized distribution of police strength, activated police team, developed management efficiency, and high-level standardized troops. By means of information searching, interview, discussion, questionnaire, and sample survey, this paper builds Guangzhou GSFI as a research model. Study on the comprehensive situation and methods of police officers'post-interchange in GSFI since professional reform in 1998, and using modern civil-servant-related theories for reference, this paper puts forward suggestions on establishing mechanism, principle and procedure of post-interchange in police officers. If possible, this GSFI-characterized mechanism would be more adaptable to domestic political, economical and social position, which is also coordinated to Civil Service Act and People's Police Law of the PRC.
