In intense market competition, every enterprise would establish corresponding development strategy according to the internal and external environment, including the stage of development, the feature of industry, the internal operation and management and so on. The strategies of enterprise have decided the core competitive abilities. And in order to get the core competitive abilities of enterprise, we must enhance the employee's core post competency. On the other hand, the employees must make accurate appraisement for themselves in order to achieve individual value. Post competency appraisal is a key place to resolve these problems, so how to evaluate the employee's post competency has extremely important for every enterprise and employee individual.This paper is on the foundation of existing research, and combines post competency theory and post management theory as a system tightly around post. This paper firstly define post competency and post competency appraisal. And it strives to solve the series of problems about post competency appraisal that business enterprises are facing now, such as paying more attention to external competency but neglecting internal character, lacking quantitative appraisal norm and so on. This system determines every post competency based on fully considering enterprise strategy and the requirement of every post. We can make scientific and reasonable appraisement for every employee with establishing the mathematics model and Applying the method of AHP to give the power numbers of all appraisal indexes.I hope this paper is able to put forward a brand-new method for the theoretical research of post competency appraisal, at the same time it may help the practical management work of all business enterprises.
