Since 1990, because of the development of computer and communication technology, World Wide Web emerged, as a result, the spread of message was accelerated and the range and content of copyright protect was continually enlarged and deepened. Traditional authors hope that the droit of their traditional writings can be expanded to Net, and those who have get benefit from Net hope that the rights and interests of Net can be protected by traditional copyright. So a large number of lawsuit appears, which make the copyright protection on Net to be a serious problem.In order to solve copyright protection in the circumstance of Net, it is not a simply expand of author droit authorized by traditional copyright law, but to aim at the characteristic of transmission in the circumstance of Net, to seriously explore and research, and to make reasonable system, so as to make sure both the character of Net transmission: wild ranged, convenience and speediness could be exerted, and the protection to author droit could be incarnated indeed.This paper is finished just for such a purpose. The whole paper includes five chapters. Chapter one chiefly discusses some basic knowledge of net technology and copyright protection, to build a basis for latter discussion and analysis. Chapter two chiefly discusses copyright problem in the circumstance of Net, new characters of copyright, and the conflict between promulgating exoterica and protecting copyright. Chapter three is main about the tort of the copyright in the internet through the analysis of the tort and the tort parties.Chapter four chiefly discusses how to protect copyright by means of law, and introduces the main body, object of copyright and the droit system of copyright law in detail. Chapter five concretely introduces the measures to consummate copyright protection in the circumstance of Net, which consists of three aspects: law protection, administration protection and technique measures.The author considers it emergent to modify and perfect the copyright law in China, to make it more adapt to the development of the modern technology, to further the establishment of the legal system of internet, to protect the rights of the owners of the copyright and strike the tort of the copyright in the internet. The modification of the copyright Law in China has played a more and more important role in above fields.
