| The widespread use of mobile phones brings to us certain relevant legal problems which are closely bound up with our daily lives and works. Mindfully or mindlessly, you could have impinged on someone's legal rights and interests or someone could have done it reversely to you. This paper aims to discuss and expound the privacy right to Mobile Short Messages in several ways. Therefore, I put forward the concepts of mobile phones, Mobile Short Messages, privacy and privacy rights, and then compare the legal protection of the privacy right to Mobile Short Messages with correspondences and emails. Finally, I draw the conclusion that the privacy right to Mobile Short Messages bears the same legal effect as the privacy rights to correspondences and mails, and deserves direct legal protection.
