Based on decision-maker's business insight, through the business model of discovering market opportunity, constructing industry platform, seeking win-win co-operation, JiangNan Group took great opportunity from China's adoption of market principle to develop herself as a diversified company, which covering several potential industries, from a spare parts factory.However, JiangNan Group was losing market chance along with the economic returns due to the lack of ability of implementation under the process of diversification. The topic, how to improve strategy making and implementation competence in order to decrease the risk of diversification, is a challenge either to JiangNan Group or the similar enterprises.In this article, we focus on the issues from JiangNan's strategy making and implementation through the analysis of her history and current situation by using the theory of strategy management and management control system. Meanwhile, we raise a series of suggestion aiming at improving the strategy-making skill systematically. We hope it would be a help to those enterprises who face the similar puzzles.
