These years, logistics industry is developing very fast in our country. With the accomplishment of logistics knowledge's popularity, many cities and departments are increasing investment, and have raised the construction tide of logistics center. Generally speaking, although the construction has high threshold, there are many deficiencies in planning and design, especially in internal planning and design because of the late starting, lack of more practical experience to reference and incomplete theory system. Owing to high cost in construction and existing investment risk, to assure the construction is scientific and reasonable, it is necessary for us to make a further research on the internal planning and design of logistics center. Under this background, the thesis starts with the actuality of inland and overseas, learns from advanced theories, and carries on in-depth research.The thesis expounds the basic theories firstly about internal planning and design of logistics center, defines the content, purpose, guide thought, principles and procedures, analyses earlier stage preparations. Based on these, then carries on system planning and design with the public and comprehensive logistics center as the research object.The thesis points out the functions which modern logistics centers should possess, including basic functions and value added functions, analyses operation process classified by commodity, determines the functions that operation districts should have. Then the thesis plans facilities including logistics operation districts facilities, assistant operation districts facilities, workshop and peripheral facilities. At the same time, plans in detail some important operation districts, and introduces the methods to calculate the operation area of districts. The thesis uses the thought of SLP for reference, analyses logistics factors and other factors, then determines the relativity between districts. Regarding to each district's operation area, the thesis uses the methods of dynamic-line arrangement, designs the positions of each district. Finally, finishes districts layout planning by the test of relativity and adjustment of some districts area.
