This study is based on Zhuzhou Electric Locomotive Group(Abbr.ZELG), to explore the current circumstances of job satisfaction of the State-owned enterprise's employees, and then to find out effective ways that help upgrade their-human resource management and finally offer some comments.This thesis' object is the staff of the State-owned enterprise. It uses questionnaires to collect date, with retrieval of 368 effective surveys. With regard to the data analysis, the methods of description statistics analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, the single factor variation analysis, correlate analysis and the regression analysis etc. are used. Firstly, it describes scores of each variable in sample. Secondly, the multiple regression analysis and correlate analysis are used to get the determinant factor for job satisfaction of ZELG's staff. Then the single factor variation analysis is used to examine whether the personal variants show up apparent differences to the job satisfaction. At last the correlate analysis and regression analysis are use to examine the relations of job satisfaction and job efficiency.The outcome shows: (l).The staff of ZELG have middle degree of job satisfaction, and the determinant factor is work rewards, such as wage, benefits etc. (2). Personal traits have apparent influence on the job satisfaction. (3). The relation of job satisfaction and job efficiency is not apparent.According to the outcome of the research, this study suggests that: At first, ZELG should establish fair and reasonable salary system, effective encouragement system, and the training system which is of institutionalization and systematized. Secondly, it is essential for leader or manager of the corporation to do more training. And more, enlarging or enriching the content of employees' work, reconstructing the human relationship in corporation. Lastly, refining process of performance management and appraisal, establishing a better environment about management.
