According to the related theory and methods of modern Performance Evaluation System, the thesis makes comprehensive and meticulous analysis to the original Performance Evaluation System of Dolton Hotel Changsha, and summarizes the experience and shortage of the performance evaluation process, also provides a set of complete and betterment project to the Performance Evaluation System.The thesis includes five parts. First, setting forth the basis theory to the performance evaluation, analyzing the performance evaluation present status to the hotel employee and putting forward the research train of thought, main contents and research methods; Second, analyzing the practicing status to the Performance Evaluation System to Dolton Hotel Changsha, evaluating the practicing effect. Some aspects are worth of reference to the Dolton Hotel Employee Performance Evaluation as follows: promoting the service quality improvement, providing basis to the personnel decision, analyzing the training demands to the personne department, offering research to the training plan, making performance review and communication, affording reference to Dolton Hotel management; Furthermore, there are some shortage to the Dolton Hotel Performance Evaluation System as follows: the standards and the evaluation methods to the performance evaluation are not pertinence; the relationship to the evaluation results and rewards and punishment are not reasonable. Afterward, according to the problem, the thesis provides the improvement project to Dolton Hotel Performance Evaluation System, definitudes the basis train of thought to improve the Performance Evaluation System, plans the seven factors to the Performance Evaluation System, definitudes performance goals, establishs BSC performance index system, designs useful performance evaluation forms, evaluation frequency, mode and evaluation and appeal flow and so on. And putting the evaluation results to salary management, employee training, position change, career development and so on. Last, making research and analysis to the potencial obstruction to the new performance evaluation system, and providing corresponding methods to the obstruction to put the new system into practice succesfully.According to the research and design to Dolton Hotel Performance Evaluation System ,the thesis perfects and provides a useful Performance Evaluation System. And, aim at the problem to the evaluation system, provides the effective methods andtheory basis to establish and improve the Performance Evaluation System to hospitality industry.
