In the recent ten years, the Chinese telecommunication industry has experienced the high-speed development and the profound transformation. It has become one of the industrial whose development are the quickest and national affections are the profoundest. During the period, the technology was unceasingly developed and the innovated, the professions were unceasingly seeped and fused, and the market patterns, the control and operation systems have also had a huge change.As the only basic telecommunication trader, which is operated by modern enterprise systems in strict meaning, CNC has participated in the reform of telecommunication industry totally and deeply since its birth on 2000. Recombination and merge are the main theme of CNC. In the constant promotion of recombination and merge, CNC Hubei Branch has developed into a company under the flag of CNC (group) southern corporation from formerly controlled by CNC LTD.. Recently it combined Ji Tong. Both its external and internal environments are greatly changed. It may face greater changes in the next few years. Therefore, being a commercial organization and market challenger, survival, development and beneficial growth in the local market are the severe and urgent problems that facing CNC Hubei Branch.This paper all-sidedly and objectively described the history and current situation of Chinese telecommunication industry and CNC. On this basis, I thoroughly analyzed the trade environment and market environment of CNC Hubei Branch together with its historical changes and transition between strength and weakness, opportunity and threat. It clearly proposed the severe surviving challenge that CNC Hubei Branch is facing. Then using SWOT and other analytic approaches, the paper pointed out Hubei Branch's strength and weaknesses comparing with its rivals, made it clear the opportunities and threats provided by managerial environment and formed corporate developing strategy.Through analyzing, this paper explained that CNC Hubei Branch could have key competitiveness only by finding the right profitable management mode. It should give priority to key areas, key products and key customers. It should centralize its limited resources and form the scale advantage in the key areas. Round this total central idea, the paper then emphatically explained the concrete tactics of each key element in strategy implementation. Through these concrete actions, CNC Hubei Branch would take the advantages and get greater market share during the competition, in the hope of becoming the main telecommunication trader inHubei area as soon as possible.
