Research Of The Enforcement Mechanism Of CMMI Standard

While software developers have realized that the idea of process improvement is becoming more and more important, Capability Maturity Model and Capability Maturity Model Integration have been utilized ubiquitously. The thesis mainly focuses on the enforcement mechanism of the standard, including the distribution of human resource, cost estimation and effect evaluation. The content of the study contains the general theory and method of CMML the concept of the enforcement mechanism of the standard, the distribution model of human resource, cost analysis and the simple evaluate method based on AHP, etc.. The main achievements are:(1) Have systematically studied the literature of domestic and international theories , methods , technological achievements about CMMI and CMM, firstly introducing the three-dimensional structure of the system engineering to explain CMMI model. The history of CMMI is summarized, and the thesis presents the concept of the enforcement mechanism of the standard.(2) The bottom-to-up analytical method has been adopted to divide "practice" in CMMI model into corresponding sub duties, and when combining with the reality, the attribute of these sub duties are actually summarized as importance, span and work load, corresponding to the practical process of the enforcement.(3) On the basis of historical data and expert opinions, this thesis makes a quantity disposal for obtained information or data by means of linear programming, regression analysis and analytic hierarchy process, etc. . It is better than many current methods that depend on personnel experience and knowledge, and the uncertainty of the results of those methods can be overwhelmed.Finally, a demonstration of "risk management" has been proposed to examine the validity, practicability and effectiveness of the enforcement mechanism of the standard, which can offer a mould for the wildly practice of the mechanism.
