The korean peninsula has important strategy value. It was the subjective that every stronger nation had snatched. The U.S not a asian country, but after the end of 19 century, with the power strengthening , the U.S began to be involved in the world affairs. After World War two, In order to gain hegemonic Status and contain the enlargement of the Soviet Union and Communism, in Northeast Asia, the U.S dominanited the development of political.The U.S was involved in" A War has not victory" in spite of anything to deal with "the chanllenge of Communism" and pretend "demorcary, freedom ". During the Cold War, the U.S delt with the North korea through "Containment policy". After the Cold War, the U.S continue deal with the North Korea though "Containment policy" and "Engagement policy" which bases on "Containment policy" to built the "Pax Americana".During the Cold War, the North Korea stood by the socialist country to break the Americans "Containment policy". After the Cold War, the North Korea trys to get rid off the economic crisis, diplomacy isolation and millitary pressure which from the U.S.Further more, the another aim in the U.S post-Cold War Korean peninsula policy is to deal with the "Big country challenge" from China, Russia and Japan. At the same time, relying on its supreme power, the U.S contains these countries and limits their influence on the peninsula. The real intention is to ensure the "American dominance" in the peninsula affair so as to establish a Northeastern Asian order which can materialize as much as possible its hegemonic interests.
