Conclusion: 1. commercial bank's competitiveness is the capability that commercial banks participate in market contention by right of respective predominance for own benefits. The commercial bank's competitiveness is incarnated by the capability of cleanup, the fluidity and security of bankroll, the validity of financial supervision as well as banks' innovative capability; 2. Chinese commercial banks that are in the green tree on several indexes are yet behind foreign banks on synthetical competitiveness because of poor capability of cleanup. Without political burden, joint-stock banks, especially those that come into the market are better than state-owned banks because of better mechanism. We should bring forward feasible measures to enhance the competitiveness of Chinese commercial banks from the angle of keeping away system-finance risk, perfecting financial supervision and quickening financial innovation.
