| This paper is mainly focused on the aspect that the Multinational Corporation directly invests in our country. Multinational Corporation, as a complicated economic organization, is always involved in various fields, such as economy, law and culture, so that it is very hard to make a strict definition to it. Concerning with this problem, the author of this paper makes the conception to Multinational Corporation from different perspectives and standards, and then presents a brief explanation to how the Multinational Corporation comes into being and evolves, as well as its direct investment theory. Based on these, the author demonstrates the status quo of the direct investment in china. During the research, this paper is not confined to the mere description of investing phenomena, whilst, in this paper the author analyzes the investing phenomena in china by the method of quantitative standard, and make a landscape oriented comparison on the capital absorbing among some southern and eastern Asian countries.This paper consists of five chapters. In the first chapter, the definition, origin, development and direct investment theory of Multinational Corporation are presented. In the second chapter, the status quo of Multinational Corporations directly investing in china is analyzed, and the analysis proceed from the aspects of investing methods, scales, structures, distributions. The third chapter is based on the former chapter, the author makes a landscape oriented comparison of capital absorbing among the eastern and southern Asian countries with the same standard. In the fourth chapter, the influences on Chinese economy from Multinational Corporation directly investing are illustrated. Here the positive and negative influences are analyzed respectively. In the fifth chapter, the author proposes some strategies and suggestions for the purpose to further absorb the investment from Multinational Corporation. On this issue, the author's points are concentrated on two aspects: the improvement of the soft environment of investment; the concrete methods and suggestions for capital absorbing. |
