Tianjin City's Attraction To Foreign Investment: A Comparative Study Of 3 Economic Zones In China With Tianjin

Recently, with the acceleration of the globalization process all over the world, as well as the establishment of more and more FTZs(free trade zones), China's regional economic development strategies are faced with some brand-new challenges. Zhujiang Delta, Yangtse Delta and Bohai Rim are the 3 outstanding driving forces and growth points in Chinese economy. Tianjin is located at the heart of the Bohai Rim, and will definitely play a significant role in the urbanization development.Firstly, this paper introduce the ways and significance of using foreign investment, and four trends after we enter the WTO. Also, this paper study the sources, regional distribution situation, current situation. This study aims to make a comparative study of 3 economic zones in China with Tianjin. Based on the analysis of the 4 metropolitan cities in China(including Beijing, Shang hai, Guang zhou and Tianjin), the author would like to make some suggestions on how to attract more foreign investment into Tianjin.
