As state-owed assets is the material foundation of socialist system, making a success of management of state assets and bring the guiding function of state economy into full play have become a basic state policy of our country. Strengthening the management of state-owned assets has a significant meaning in consolidating and developing socialism system, increasing the vitality of state-owned economy and rationalizing the relationship of the government and enterprises. This paper is a part of "changchun state-owned assets management and operation research" which is a research project of Changchun's Scientific and Technological Commission.The thesis introduces the basic meanings of state-owned assets and relative questions, analyses the problems in present state-owned assets management in China.
